So Deadman met with a God and he was told how stupid he was. He doesn’t understand gravity and time, so he is incapable of understand anything. He is told his purpose is ‘to return something of substance to the universe’ and that he is ‘a champions of souls’. Also, he ‘doesn’t have the chance to undo the knots that bind him’.
There is a clever and touching scene in a bar with a man in a wheelchair. I think I’m more interested in that than anything else.
He does some fun stuff to get in the bar. I enjoyed the supernatural detector that he had to go through. All the vampires, werewolves and demons all together in a bar. I’m not sure I liked the stand up routine, as it seems a bit out of character for Deadman, but at least it ended with the librarian. It was fun to find his book was written in braille and in Aramaic.
