There is a lot of blood in this issue.  It starts with 3 panels with Batman bleeding.  Mouth and nose.  And then we find out the drug makes the users bleed from nose and eyes.  So soon everyone is leaking blood all the time. I like Finch’s art, but he makes the blood look thick and stringy.  It looks more like red rope and not fluid.

I’m not sure who is writing what in this book.  But it seems like they took a lot of dialogue from the Batman movies?  The Alfred with attitude may be funny, but it doesn’t really fit.  Some lines seem lifted right from the movies.  “batfreak’ and ‘wait ’till they get a load of me’ come right from the DVDs.

It was nice to see th cameos from the whole Bat family.  Although it seemed out of character for Nightwing and Robin to call for backup so quickly.

The art still dazzles in parts.  The white rabbit is sexy and the new puppet master is disturbingly cool.  I’m not sure what to make of the steroid sized Joker?  I guess it is temporary as two face returned to normal.
