Green Arrow #2

Well, the stupid villans from #1 are back and they brought some other stupid villains.  At the start of the issue he fights ‘lime’ and ‘light’.  Is there no editors and DC that tell the writer that those names are so bad?  Which of the girls got stuck with ‘lime’?  Who decides which one got ‘lime’?  Did the flip a coin and the loser got ‘lime’?  I think ‘Peanut Butter’ and ‘Jelly’ would have been two better names than that.

I like the idea about villans using internet fame as their villanous way.  And I liked the evil way they suckered in the new kid, but I”m hoping it gets stronger.  So far in order to make the Green Arrow younger, they have taken away his entire previous personality.  They might as well have put a different person in the costume.  To make him seem youthful, they have made him petulant and bratty.

The art was a strong point of this book, and it has gotten worse than #1.  The fight scenes are so static it seems like they are posed like statues instead locked in a fight.  And the expressions on anyone not in a mask is blank and lifeless.
