I, Vampire #2

I cannot believe how much I enjoyed this issue.  I’m not a teenage Goth chick, and I still liked this book.  I had to check to make sure I didn’t have torn pantyhose, or black nail polish, just to be sure.

I’m still not sure I understand what is completely going on here.   Marry has begun a vampire rebellion against the people.  I’m not sure what her motives are.  She doesn’t really seemed all that involved in the cause.  I seems more of an attention getting device for her boyfriend.   I liked how she knew that her boyfriend was going to kill her minions, but she didn’t care.  It was all about disgracing him and revealing him as a traitor to vampires.

The art is all Goth cool, with lots of semi-black&white images with scarlet blood that pops off the page.
