The cover shows Sinestro battling 7 Sinetro Corp members, including a ghost/skeleton member. But inside he doesn’t battle any of those. He battles someone else entirely.
Hal is now bound to Sinestro’s will. He has a ring that was created by Sinestro, and cannot be used to attack him. Also, Sinestro can turn it off or on whenever he wants. If Hal wants to do good, he has to play the rules.
I liked the display of Hal’s personality. As soon as he got the power he stopped his fight with Sinestro and went to save people. He never stops to think about things, he just does them. I guess that is why he doesn’t know fear, he just doesn’t think about it.
Sinestro made a good point. Instead of saving one or two people at a time, maybe they could do bigger things. Using the ring for public works and world building would help thousands or millions, instead of fighting crime to save individuals. Save the bridge before they fall instead of each person after they fall.
