Action #2. So Superman gets tortured, and I enjoyed it. I like the way Luthor refers to him as ‘it’ even to the point of correcting the guards. I’m almost sympathetic with Luthor, there is an all-powerful God that can do anything it wants. So you should probably be worried. If Luthor had a motive (like his parents being killed by aliens) and I’d almost root for him, but his motives seem to be that he doesn’t like the fact that others are more powerful than he is.
There were a lot of great story touches. I like how they thought Superman’s true form was a 6 legged goat. I hope we see more of that. I liked the testing protocols and the testing on the cape. I really liked the ship. How it talks to him in Kryptonian.
But all the stuff with Lois can go. Since their relationship is removed, she no longer matters. They will never be together, so any romance or relationship if pointless and just adds useless pages to the story.
Rag’s art is always great. It was neat to see the reflection in the mirror. It was shown as a skeleton to show how Superman sees it. And when SUperman spins around, he eyes leave an energy trail.
