What does Superman see in Lois?  I guess she is pretty, and she is smart, and she is ambitious.  All very good.  But she never seems very nice.  Or kind.  Or caring about humanity.  She doesn’t seem to be much into service to her fellow man.  All things Superman cares about.  So what does he see in her?  He has a lot of other options, and she doesn’t seem much interested in him romantically.

So Superman sulks that they won’t be working together anymore.There was one telling remark.  That Lois put herself in danger so that she could beat Clark.  So was Superman subconsciously driving Lois?  Was he making her put herself in jeopardy? So that he could then save her as Superman.  Using Clark for the sole purpose of creating a damsel in distress scenario?  Twisted.

I loved the invisible alien creature.  With all of Superman’s enhanced senses he was helpless against it.  But everyone else could see.  I loved that his Kryptonian DNA makes him different.  Not just always better, but always different.  I hope they continue with that.  That deserves a lot of exploration.  I just wish he hadn’t discovered it yet.  I like the idea that people don’t understand that he doesn’t know what he is fighting.  They could think he was crazy for a little while longer.
