Wonder Woman #2

Wonder Woman is back on Paradise Island and she brought Hermes and a pregnant girl with her.  I’m not sure why she needed to go there?  I guess from last issue she wanted to go somewhere safe.  But I guess it isn’t quite so safe.

So Hera hates all the children of Zeus, not just the males.  I think most of the Greek Pantheon are Zeus’ illegitimate children.  Apollo, Athena, Hermes, Aphrodite are all children not of Hera.  So I’m not sure how long her anger goes?  or maybe it is just moral women she has a problem with.

Also, Strife shows up.  She is punk princess with a half shaved mohawk.  It isn’t full shaved as that would be too neat.  So it is all stubbly to show how rebellious she is.  She’s hard and unconventional.  I figured she might outgrow that after millenia, but I guess Gods are Gods.

So big shock is that Wonder Woman’s origin has been a lie all these years.  She is actually the daughter of Zeus as well.

The art needs some work.  SOme of the lines are wavy when they should be straight, and some faces look distorted, but not in a good way.  Also, the coloring is awful.  Brown on Tan on Brown.  I hope he learns some new colors.
