DESCRIPTION:Release \nBoth the Forgotten Realms Players Guide & Adventure Guide Release November 11\, 2025\n\n\nThe Forgotten Realms have long been one of the most popular adventuring spots for D&D players. From the Moonshae Isles in the Feywild to the notorious Baldur’s Gate along the Sword Coast\, it is a well-known world-setting positively brimming with legends\, history\, and rich lore designed to draw adventurers back over and again. Not just one but two books will be released November 11\, 2025: The Forgotten Realms Player’s Guide and The Forgotten Realms Adventure Guide. \nThe Forgotten Realms Player’s Guide has been designed specifically for players and will serve as a companion to the Player’s Handbook\, providing a deep dive into the world and lore\, the deities\, eight new subclasses\, new spells\, and an entirely new system for spellcasting called circle casting. Circle casting will provide spellcasters opportunities to combine their magical efforts and empower their magic through group casting. Though this book may have been designed for players\, it’s also an indispensable tool for DMs as well\, providing opportunities for world-building and adventure building within the Realms. \n\nCollege Of The Moon (Bard)\nKnowledge Domain (Cleric)\nPurple Dragon Knight (Fighter)\nOath Of The Noble Genies (Paladin)\nWinter Walker (Ranger)\nScion Of The Three (Rogue)\nSpellfire Sorcery (Sorcerer)\nBladesinger (Wizard\n\nDesigned more specifically for DMs\, The Forgotten Realms Adventure Guide focuses on five distinct campaign locations\, providing insight into the differences between each one and offering campaign and gameplay variety to suit different types of play. Have a group that prefers the magic and whimsy of the Feywild? Drop them down in the Moonshae Isles. Survival horror reigns supreme in Icewind Dale. Each one of the five different settings explores a different type of fantasy\, moving games beyond the typical places explored along the Sword Coast\, like Neverwinter and Baldur’s Gate\, for example. These adventures are also relatively short\, which allows DMs to grab them and get started quickly\, or\, as noted above\, encourage other players around the table to consider taking up the mantle of DM and run an adventure for everyone. \nSo\, why not make this all one book? The answer is actually simple. The Forgotten Realms Adventure Guide contains information on adventures and campaigns that DMs might want to hold close to the vest\, keeping their adventures spoiler-free for curious players who will be tempted to read beyond the player-specific material. DESCRIPTION:Release \nHeroes of the Borderlands Starter Set Releases September 16\, 2025 (mass release)\n\n\nIt only makes sense\, given all the changes 5e has seen with the core rule updates\, that a new starter set would be on the horizon. In September 2025\, fans return to the Borderlands in an all-new adventure exploring a classic setting. This official return to the Keep on the Borderlands may seem familiar to many\, but the adventure itself is set years after the original. That means time will have passed\, offering plenty to discover and explore\, even for those who have already visited this world-setting. \nOne of the primary goals for WotC with the recent changes has been an effort to make it easier than ever for players old and new to pick up the game and start playing as quickly as possible. The Heroes of the Borderland Starter Set will do that in so many ways\, including a brand-new way to easily build characters using a unique tile system that demonstrates to new players how exciting it can be to build a character and make it their own right from the start. Previous starter sets came with pre-built characters\, and while this definitely made it easy to launch into a game\, players weren’t given much choice about the kind of characters they wanted to play. Now\, they will be able to do that without delving too deeply into character creation concepts that might feel intimidating to brand-new players experiencing the game for the first time. \nThis starter set is also designed to demonstrate to players just how easy it is to DM and run a game. DMing can be intimidating to new players\, but when it comes down to it\, DMs are one of the required components for play. DESCRIPTION:Release \nThe Dragon Delves Adventure Anthology Releases July 8\, 2025\n\n\nAs one of the most recognizable creature types in Dungeons & Dragons\, dragons have long played a role in both game and lore. Coming in July 2025\, the Dragon Delves adventure anthology will bring all 10 classic dragon types to light within the same adventure module for the first time ever. Not only will this anthology include three campaign options\, but short adventures for each dragon type\, and not all of them are combat-based. Designed to be easy to pick up and play\, these adventures are short enough that they can be easily dropped into a pre-existing campaign\, or simply stand on their own as one-shot games. \nFollowing the examples set in the 2024 Dungeon Master’s Guide\, they’re built for minimal prep and ease of play\, allowing DMs more time to get into the game with their players. The design of these adventures serves as an example of just how easy preparations are\, especially in 5e’s materials going forward\, in the hopes of encouraging more players to take up the DM’s mantle and run adventures. \n  \n\nAnother exciting aspect of Dragon Delves will be the unique art created for each and every chapter of the book. Each adventure has a different artist doing the illustrations for each adventure\, showcasing a variety of different perceptions and styles that make the book itself a dream to pour over. Along with these exciting new art styles\, the book will also feature an art and history section exploring the last 50 years of dragons in D&D.
